RUINS OF NORMAN CHURCH, STENIGOT. NAVE IS RUINOUS BUT CHANCEL STANDS WITH A NORMAN CHANCEL ARCH AND MEDIEVAL ALTAR, FRAGMENT OF DECORATED TRACERY AND PERPENDICULAR SIDE WINDOWS. {1} CHANCEL WAS USED AS MORTUARY CHAPEL AFTER CHURCH WENT OUT OF USE. IN VISIT OF 1963 CHANCEL WAS DISUSED AND IN POOR CONDITION. {2}
