Full Description
This ditched mound is 24 paces across and 2 feet high with a smaller mound, 3 paces across and 3 feet high on one side. The ditch averages 1 foot 6 inches deep and 5 feet wide. There are two large depressions connected with the ditch and two causeways coming from the mound. One bank runs just to the west of the mound, and the area between Calcethorpe Manor Farm and the road contains old field enclosures. {1}{2}
The mound is probably associated with Calcethorpe deserted medieval village. {1}
