Full Description

St Helen's Church is Norman and later in date. It was restored and enlarged in the last century. Old remains include a Norman tower arch and blocked door in the north aisle, a 13th century arcade and 15th century chancel. {1} A parish church dating from the 11th century which underwent alteration in the 13th, 14th and 16th centuries and was restored in 1871 to 1872. {5}
