Full Description

A late Bronze Age leaf-shaped sword found in 1960 or possibly in 1959.{1}{2}{5} There is another leaf-shaped sword found in 1962 from the same approximate location, TF 2065 5932. The grid reference was obtained directly from the finder of the objects.{3} Davey records and illustrates the sword found in 1960 (and photographed in source no.1) as well as a fragment of sword blade. He records the parish as Tattershall but the grid reference given is in Tattershall Thorpe. These finds may be linked with record PRN40140. {4}
