Full Description
PRN 35011
CULTIVATION PROBABLY CONTINUED ON THE SITE IN THE POST-ROMAN PERIOD, AND CERTAINLY IN THE MEDIEVAL PERIOD. POTTERY RECOVERED FROM THE SITE INCLUDES ST NEOTS WARE AND GREEN GLAZED WARE, WHICH INDICATED MANURING. THE FIELDS HAVE MAINTAINED THEIR SHAPE FROM THIS PERIOD UNTIL THE PRESENT DAY. {1}
During an excavation in 1997, north-west/south-east aligned ridge and furrow and a plough headland were observed.{8}
