DURING A WATCHING BRIEF ON A WATER PIPELINE AT BRIDGE STREET A COMPACTED SILTY LAYER WAS OBSERVED WHICH MAY HAVE BEEN A PREVIOUS ROAD SURFACE OR REPAIR. {1}{2} During a watching brief on a water pipeline at Bridge Street, a compacted silty layer was observed, which may have been a previous road surface or repair. {1}{2}
