Full Description
THIS SITE IS PROBABLY PART OF FENLAND IN ROMAN TIMES SITE 1424 (B?). SURFACE FINDS CONSIST OF POTTERY AND FIRED CLAY. THE POTTERY INCLUDES A SHERD OF MICA-DUSTED JAR OF 1ST OR 2ND CENTURY DATE. SITE IS ON LOW-LYING CLAY AT THE JUNCTION OF TWO RODDONS. {1}{2}, AREA 0.15H, HTM 1.5M
