A DARK SOILMARK WITH BRIQUETAGE, ANIMAL BONE (COW AND SHEEP), SPARSE POTTERY AND BURNT STONE INDICATE AN IRON AGE SETTLEMENT AND SALTWORKING SITE. FLINTS ALSO FROM THE SITE BUT THESE ARE EARLIER. PART OF THE SURFACE SCATTER EXTENDS NORTH-EAST AND NORTH BUT IS OBSCURED BENEATH DYKE SPOIL. {1}{2}, AREA 0.16H, HTM 3.5M
