Full Description
PRN 34139
A scatter of pottery and sparsely distributed briquetage fragments was located at the junction of the fen and upland, adjacent to the course of a stream. Traces of a sub-square earthwork were visible in the same ploughed field. Thirty one sherds of Iron Age (mainly middle Iron Age) pottery were collected, together with three sherds of unidentified prehistoric pottery. The scatter lay at around 3m OD and extended over an area of 0.28ha. {1}
