Full Description
A DENSE SCATTER OF POTSHERDS WITH OCCASIONAL BURNT LIMESTONE AND ANIMAL BONE PARTLY LOCATED ON A RODDON AND A SLIGHT MOUND WITHIN AN EXTENSIVE TRACT OF DEEP PEAT. ALONG WITH 34113 THIS SITE IS LOCATED IN AN AREA DESCRIBED AS AN 'ANCIENT ENCLOSURE' ON THE ENCLOSURE AWARD MAP. THE POTTERY IS MAINLY OF 14TH CENTURY TYPES AND FROM THE BOURNE KILNS. {1}, AREA 0.2H, HTM 1.5M
