Full Description
A small scatter of pottery and fired clay of uncertain date was found in this location to the east of Dyke, during field walking conducted as part of the Fenland Project. The assemblage comprised 13 sherds of pottery, which were recovered from an of dark soil staining within a rape crop. It was suggested that the pottery might be of Bronze Age or early Saxon date, though this remains unconfirmed. {1}
