Full Description

PRN 33893 A small rectangular moat, in Twyford forest, excavated Grimes 1942-3, prior to airfield development. Cobbled entrance in south, leading to inner area of pitching representing site of building.{1}{2}{3}{4}{5} During a site visit to Twyford wood, no sign of the moated site could be found, although the South Kesteven Community Archaeologist has recorded that the site is readily visible.{6}
