'Stocks on E side of road to SE of Hall'. {1} The Village Stocks and Whipping Post under the canopy are Grade II listed. They date from the 17th century but were altered in the 20th century. The structures are constructed of timber, with a conical Collyweston canopy roof. The stocks have upper and lower boards with four apertures which are set between two posts, one post is taller, presumably a whipping post. The 20th century canopy is supported on four timber posts. {2}
