Full Description
Probable Romano-British villa site. Carved stonework, colour-coated wares and other pottery, and tesserae were found in ploughsoil. 3 areas of tesserae suggest at least 3 mosaic floors. {1}
A scatter of Roman pottery, mostly greyware, and some building stone were found in March 1974 at TF 021 333. The pottery went to Lincoln Museum in June 1977. {2}{3}
