Full Description

An extensive site with 14 irregular rounded enclosures, one linked by a trackway to a rectangular enclosure (see PRN 32979). In 1965, the site was almost entirely under standing corn. Mapped by the RCHM in 1960 in 'A Matter of Time'. {1}{2} Cropmarks of enclosures and ring ditches. {3} Cropmarks of ring ditches (see PRN's 32991 and 32992), a trackway leading to a regular rectangular enclosure (see PRN 32979), large irregular polygonal enclosures with associated curvilinear ditches, small rectangular and circular enclosures and pits; visible on aerial photographs from 1947 onwards. Possibly part of a settlement with associated field systems, trackways and round barrows. {4}{5}{6}{7}{8}
