CROPMARKS OF IRREGULAR ENCLOSURES, DITCHES AND POSSIBLE PITS, WEST OF KING STREET. {1}{2} FURTHER LARGE PITS AND DITCHES (PRN 33479) ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE ROMAN ROAD WERE PROBABLY ORIGINALLY ROMAN GRAVEL PITS, THOUGHT TO HAVE BEEN USED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF KING STREET (PRN 34687).
