Full Description
The lower part of a Roman inscribed stone, which reads '...DE SUO DONAVIT'. The stone is of oolitic limestone, and was found in 1974, amongst rubble to be tipped in a quarry to the north of Market Deeping. Its original source is unknown but is probably local (no further than Stamford). {1}{2}
