PITS CONTAINING IRON AGE POTTERY AND ROMANO-BRITISH MATERIAL WERE FOUND AFTER THE TOPSOIL HAD BEEN STRIPPED FOR QUARRYING BY GRAVELWORKS LTD, IN AN AREA BESIDE THE LANGTOFT OUTGANG ROAD. C1-C3 ROMAN POTTERY WAS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PITS. {1}{2}~
