PITS CONTAINING IRON AGE POTTERY OF TRENT VALLEY TYPE, WERE FOUND AFTER THE TOPSOIL HAD BEEN STRIPPED FOR QUARRYING BY GRAVELWORKS LTD, IN AN AREA BESIDE THE LANGTOFT OUTGANG ROAD. ROMANO-BRITISH MATERIAL WAS ALSO FOUND (SEE PRN 33420). {1}{2}~
