Full Description
Saltworking site on Morton Fen. It is visible in aerial photographs, and located next two the Bourne to Morton Roman branch canal. A few Romano-British pottery sherds, including pieces of imitation drag 37 and an evaporating vessel, have been found due to ploughing on the norhtern flank of the levee of the extinct watercourse. {1}{2}{3}{4}
