Full Description

PRN 33113 Roman pottery found 1972. H Healey,B Simmons. {1} A Roman settlement represented by a very dark soilmark and surface meterial including pottery, limestone rubble, tile burnt stone, sparse bone, some brick and glass (possibly post-medieval) was found as part of the Fenland Survey. Although poor artefact visibility there were 3-5 concentrations within the general scaller. Previously noted by the Car Dyke Research Group. {3}
