Full Description

PRN32972 A winding ditch with a variety of enclosures to its north and south. There is a substantial playing card shaped enclosure lying east to west at TF12133451, with two smaller squarish enclosures on its south-east corner. There is a smaller irregular rectangular enclosure lying north to south to the south-west of the main enclosure. To the east along the winding ditch there is an irregular rectangular enclosure then an irregular triangular enclosure that has within it a small rectangular enclosure its north side. The ditch then travels south-east and joins with a further small group of enclosures that are recorded as part of PRN33305. The sinuous ditch appears to link these cropmarks with similar cropmarks further to the east (PRN33305 and 33309).{1} The cropmark morphology would suggest the sites date to the later prehistoric. {2}
