Full Description
PRN 32912
Possible Roman settlement site. Small cluster of small ditched enclosures, under plough, suggested by cropmarks on aerial photographs. Area under crop; no visible evidence of occupation, no known finds. {1}
Fieldwalking was carried out at this site and Romano-British pottery (including Samian) along with sparse bone and fired clay fragments was recorded. A soilmark was also observed. {2}
