Full Description
Pagan Saxon pottery concentrated in this area of ploughed field. Also some Med. Pot including Stamford ware, fragment of bronze buckle or brooch & Saxon clay spindle whorl. Found in 1976 during field- walking. Information H. Healey. 2nd Saxon spindle whorl of dark grey sandy micaceous fabric found in approx. same area in 1976. {1}
