Full Description
Early in C13, bishop ordered parson to be resident. In 1345 parish aquired messuage at rent of 2.5d. In 1535 rent the same. In 1759 still in parsonage hall chambered over. The present vicarage incorporates the much repaired skeleton of the medieval house. {1}
