Full Description

The site of the hamlet of Towthorpe. {1} There is no obvious village site. Aerial photographs show areas of ridge and furrow that do not reach the stream so there are possible areas of settlement here. {2} The area is rough pasture with, immediately to the south, a more disturbed area with drainage ditches but no obvious evidence for buildings. {3}
