Full Description

The 1956 Ordnance Survey map states that 'Londonthorpe Mill' existed here. {1} The 1981 Ordnance Survey map records 'The Mill' at this location. {2} A water mill and house dating from the late 18th century. {3} Londonthorpe Mill was built of red brick in two parts; one on the west which is two storeys high and contains a warehouse and workshop and the other which is three storeys high which houses the wheel, added in 1914 and grinding machinery. The mill was last worked in 1963. {4}
