Full Description
Icehouse at Caythorpe Hall. It lies on the south side of a pair of fishponds at Caythorpe, possibly draining into them (see PRN 30246). {1}
Ice house, built c.1823 in coursed and banded limestone rubble and brick with domed brick roof. The ice house is octagonal in plan and the internal ice chamber is egg-shaped and countersunk to approximately half its depth.
