Church late 12th century -1752 (when west tower was built) 2 smaller circular windows may be re-set Anglo-Saxon pieces. {1}{2} A church with some architectural features dating to the 11th century and with later additions during the Middle Ages and beyond, it was restored in 1811. Built of limestone with some red brick and pantile and slate roofs. The west tower dates to 1752, and has three stages with a small plinth. Nine 15th century bench ends were restored in 1951. The church has a 15th century screen of 4 panels, a 19th century pulpit and lectern, a 12th century octagonal stone font a large 16th century chest with sunken panels and several locks, early 20th century pews and a 12th century foliated cross slab now in south transept bay that was formerly in the church yard.
