Full Description

During top-soil stripping for the Grantham Bypass, both Iron Age (PRN30122) and Romano-British pottery was discovered in dark soilmarks indicating probable hut circles. Aerial photos are ambiguous but do appear to show soilmarks in the vicinity of these finds.{1}{2}{3}{4} Romano-British pottery was found, consisting of a colour-coated flagon, a red/brown vessel with a beaded rim, and parts of three greyware vessels.{4}{5}
