Three steps, base and shaft (6 feet 6 inches high), moulding and pedestal supporting a ball. The ball is of later date and whole appears to have been completely restored.{1}{2}{3}{4} Octagonal stone steps into square shaft and late 17th century capital and ball on top. Perhaps repaired same date as Read's Grammar School (1669).
