Full Description
Three steps, base and shaft (6 feet 6 inches high), moulding and pedestal supporting a ball. The ball is of later date and whole appears to have been completely restored.{1}{2}{3}{4}
Octagonal stone steps into square shaft and late 17th century capital and ball on top. Perhaps repaired same date as Read's Grammar School (1669). The base has been reduced in size, cut back and faced with blue Victorian bricks.{6}
