Denton originally had 3 manors. J Welby came to 1 of these in 1539 and lived in a house known as Nether Hall.{1}
Netherhall Farmhouse is a Grade II listed building dating from the 17th century. It underwent 18th and early 19th century additions and some 20th century alterations.
