Full Description
Geophysical survey indentified anomalies consistent with burning or burnt material which probably relate to this site. {1}
Pit features containing wasters were uncovered during the subsequent trial trenching. These are interpreted as relating to brick manufacture. However, only a very small part of the potential area of the site was excavated and no kiln features or working surfaces were encountered. {2}{3}
