Full Description

Money Bridge Manor House. Money is possibly a corruption of Manor. The moat was apparently filled in during the Second World War.{1} Masonry blocks, pottery and coins were found at Money Bridge. This included a Middlesex token 1795, James II 'gun money' shilling 1689, a farthing of George II of about 1730 and a penny of George III 1806 or 1807.{2} A historic park recorded on the first edition Ordnance Survey maps at Money Bridge Manor House, Pinchbeck. {3}{4}
