Full Description

Late Medieval pottery found, Holbeach Hurn including: about forty sherds of Bourne D ware, and twenty sherds of Toynton ware, six sherds of sandy ware two Bourne B sherds: one grey Saxo-Norman sagging base: one unidentified clear orange glazed rim, five Raven type including handle and frilled bases. One yellow glazed floor tile. Also a bronze strip, possibly a handle. All of this pottery was found in about 1970 on P Tinsleys' land.{1}
