In 1951 the top stone of a rotary beehive quern was found by the farmer at TF17312423. Site visited in Jan 1952, when an even scatter of late C2nd-3rd pottery seen over area of dark rich silty clay soil at TF173242, indicated a purely domestic site closely connected with the above. No visual evidence at either side. Present location of finds not determined. {1}{5} FURTHER FINDS FROM THIS SITE INCLUDE POTTERY, BONE TILE AND QUERN FROM A DARK SOILMARK ON AND AROUND A SMALL RODDON. THERE IS A SMALL MOUND AT THE CENTRE OF THE SPREAD. THERE WAS ALSO BRIQUETAGE, AND THE FARMER REPORTED A POSSIBLE FIND OF A SKELETON. {4}
