Full Description
Area TF229189 Cropmarks, indications of Roman settlement west of Luck's Bridge, Spalding, clearly part of system of enclosures, roddons, droves, etc. extending over wide area.{1}{2}{3}{4}{5} The majority of area under heavy crop. No finds of interest by farmer. One field of permanent pasture, centred TF22781970, contains an old drove road, 1.5m deep, and a shallow field ditch; medieval in use if not in origin. In the plough immediately south west the only finds were a few late medieval sherds of pottery.{1}
