Full Description

Ashtree House - stretch of drove under grass seen on air photos as cropmarks and continuing north from Congreve Farm. Adjoining it is a small group of irregular polygonal enclosures with hints of internal features - possibly drainage - round the long buildings.{1}{2} Cropmarks, indications of (possible RB) settlement west of Lucks Bridge, clearly part of a system of enclosures, roddens, droves etc extending over a wide area. Area under heavy crop, no finds by farmer.{3}{4}{5}{6}{7} A STRETCH OF DROVE WAY AND A GROUP OF ENCLOSURES WITH HINTS OF INTERNAL FEATURES. {2}
