SEVERAL LARGE STONE COFFINS, A COIN DATED 1578 AND INSCRIBED POS VI DEVAD AND AN OBLONG BOX CONTAINING SOME WHITE COMPOSITION, WERE DUG OUT (ABOUT 1811) BY SOME LABOURERS, FROM AMONG FOUNDATIONS ABOUT 1/2 MILE N-E OF GEDNEY CHURCH, NEAR CHAPELGATE. (SEE 22285 FOR CHAPEL SITE).{1}{2}{3}
