St Nicholas' Church dates from 1845-46.{2}
A parish church of 1845 by Charles Kirk of Sleaford in the Decorated style. It is of coursed limestone rubble, with ashlar quoins and dressings. It has slate roofs with decorative ridge tiles and stone coped gables with crosses fleury. Deeping St Nicholas was first formed as a parish in 1846, following the draining of this area of Fen.
