Full Description

Cropmarks at two sites at Spalding South Fen, visited February 1952. No RB remains. An area of peaty clay soil, with raised silt, peaty, and clay patches. {1}{2}{3}{4} Both areas under crop. The farmer recalls Mrs Hallam's visit and has collected pottery and brick fragments from the plough, all are Late Medieval. (see MLI20302). {1}
