Full Description
A group of small rectangular ditched enclosures south of North Drove Drain, Deeping St Nicholas, APs suggest are part of Roman layout related to gravel road. Visited September 1950. No traces of ditches or occupation debris over the silty clay soil of the area.{1}{4}{5} Area under crop. Farmer confirmed line of road as gravel spread but knows of no other finds of interest.{1} Compact regular group of small enclosures alongside gravelled road. No occupation debris.{2}{3}
