Full Description

Iron Age, Roman and medieval pottery, also medieval building fragments were ploughed up at Crowland Wash, west of Crowland in 1962.{1}{2}{4} The indicated area is under crop. No archaeological vestiges noted.{1} IA pottery and saltern material from a mound on Crowland High Wash - 100 ft across - recently ploughed from grass.{6}
