Full Description

THERE IS A CONSPICUOUS RED HILL 'd' TO THE SOUTH WEST OF THE OCCUPATION DEBRIS SCATTERS. FINDS INCLUDE PULVERISED BAKED CLAY AND ASH SCATTERED WITH MANY LARGE AND SMALL SUPPORTS, MANY COMPLETE, THOUGH LATER BROKEN BY FROST, WITH OTHER ACCESSORIES. THESE INCLUDED PIECES OF BAKED CLAY TRENCH LINING AND VESSEL FRAGMENTS, CONCENTRATED PARTICULARLY ALONG LINES ALONG WEST AND NORTH EDGES OF A HILLOCK, AND A BELT ACROSS THE MIDDLE, PARTLY ENCLOSING TWO AREAS. {1}
