Full Description

A scatter of domestic debris, particularly pottery sherds, over a very distinct raised area of dark soil; around the flanks of a less definite dark area; over a small patch; as well as a trace of pottery sherds and occupation soil turned up where the plough dug in more deeply in rising out of a hollow. The pottery was dated as between the 2nd and 4th century, but is mainly 3rd century in date. {1}
