THERE IS A BREACH IN THE WASH BANK AT THIS POINT. THE ACTION OF THE WATER PRODUCES PITS. THE BREACH WAS REPARIED WITH A 'HORSESHOE' REPAIR. THERE IS A SIMILAR ONE TO THE NORTH IN DEEPING ST NICHOLAS. {1}{2}{3}
