Full Description
THERE IS A BREACH IN THE WELLAND BANK AT THIS POINT. THE ACTION OF THE WATER PRODUCES PITS. THE BREACH WAS REPAIRED WITH A 'HORSESHOE' REPAIR. THERE IS A SIMILAR ONE TO THE SOUTH IN CROWLAND. IT IS ADJACENT TO GULL HOUSE AND GULL HOUSE FARM. {1}{2}{3}
Remains of the pit are visble on the c.2000 APs. {4}
