Full Description
THIS IS A MIDDLE SAXON MOUNDED SITE WITH THINLY SCATTERED POTTERY, FIRED CLAY AND BONE. THERE ARE SOILMARKS AND THE TERRAIN IS GENERALLY SILTY. IT WAS DIFFICULT TO PINPOINT THE EXACT LIMITS. THE FINDS WERE ADJACENT TO A RECENTLY CLEANSED DYKE, AND A GULLY WAS OBSERVED IN THE SECTION OF THE DYKE.{1}, HTM 3.5M
