Full Description

An area of Romano-British cropmarks, including linear features and old watercourses. The site includes a wide area of red soil and pulverized baked clay in a silty levee forming a distinct 'red hill'. Finds identified in this area include sparse pottery sherds, burnt stone, bone, slag and an iron nail. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}{6}{7}
