Full Description

A SAXON SETTLEMENT SITE ON A MOUNDED AREA WITH A ZONE OF EXTENSIVE SILTING AND POORLY DEFINED RODDONS. ALSO BONE, SHELL, HAMMERSTONE AND LAVA QUERN WAS FOUND ON THIS SITE, WHICH SUGGESTS THAT IT WAS NOT WITHOUT A CERTAIN WEALTH OR STATUS. {1}{2}
